Meet Simone Hasselbach, Owner, Creative Director, Head Planner and Florist for A Dream Come True Events.

Simone has always wanted to be an event planner/florist, and opening her own company has literally been a dream of hers for many years. She finally got a chance to set this dream in motion and bring it to life when she decided to give up her career as a business analyst and study full-time for a Certificate in Advanced Wedding Management at The SA School of Weddings. She worked in the corporate sector for over 10 years and brings with her an in-depth knowledge of working on all the aspects of projects ranging in size from very small to large scale.

Being a creative person and having experience as a business analyst for 13 years under her belt gives our company the edge over other event planning businesses when it comes to analysis, planning, budgeting, working according to deadlines, working under pressure and delivering work of a high standard.

Before starting the company, she has, over the years, also been responsible for planning a range of events from weddings, birthday celebrations, baby showers, bachelorette parties, year-end functions and corporate team-building days.

She has done corporate and personal gifting for many years and during her studies at ‘The SA School of Weddings’ she also assisted on numerous weddings and corporate events.

Simone has a National Diploma in Financial Information Systems and a Diploma in Business Analysis.

She has also completed her Certificate in Advanced Wedding Management at The SA School of Weddings and graduated at the top of her class!

She’s always on the lookout for new courses to keep her knowledge up to date and her creative juices flowing! This is just an added guarantee that you’re getting the best possible person for the job!
